Kristina is the director of the CCT Data Science Team at the University of Arizona, where she enables her and the team members to apply reproducible and open methods to facilitate scientific progress for researchers. She has over a decade of experience teaching and applying programming and data management approaches to scientific research, through developing open educational curriculum, leading workshops and semester-long courses, and collaborating on scientific research projects across many domains. She completed her PhD in ecology at the University of Florida working with Dr. Ethan White.
