Goodbye Twitter, Hello Fediverse!

In light of recent and ongoing changes in Twitter policies and practices, we have made the decision to move our social media presence to Mastodon, where you can find us @cct_datascience@fosstodon.org. We feel that community standards outlined by the fosstodon.org code of conduct aligns with our team’s mission and values and that the changes to Twitter have made it less safe and welcoming for our community. We believe that our move to Mastodon will make it easier for us to interact with the University of Arizona community in a welcoming and safe digital space. If you follow us on Twitter currently, we will no longer be interacting there, and we encourage you to follow us on Mastodon, sign up for our email newsletter, or join our weekly drop-in hours to stay in touch.
