Weather data in R

This month’s workshop will introduce a variety of climate and weather data sets that you can use in your research. This will be followed by a hands on demonstration of how to access and analyze these data using web based interfaces and R. We will be covering the basics of different types and formats of weather data, where to find these data, and then doing hands-on demos of several R packages for various weather datasets. The last part of the workshop will be an open Q&A, so please bring any weather data related questions you have from projects that you’re working on!
